Run Smart. Run Hard. Run Happy.

Physical Therapy & Coaching In Nashville, TN

  • As a long distance runner who’s done several marathons, recent knee pain was really holding me back. I was getting pain going up the stairs and was having trouble running for more than 30 minutes. Since working with Killian I ran my fastest 1/2 marathon in 5 years and I don’t have any more pain! I can’t recommend her enough.

  • HIGHLY recommend working with Killian especially if you're a runner (or athlete) that wants to be able to keep doing the sport you love most. I ALWAYS say if you're a runner, find a PT who is also a runner, because they understand the importance of getting you back to running as quickly and safely as possible, and that's exactly what Killian did with me. I came to her in September after a two month running hiatus due to a hip injury, and in October was able to run a half marathon pain free.

  • Killian has been amazing at helping me recover from a running injury and getting me back out there stronger. She is thorough and consistent about checking in between appointments and tailoring workouts and PT exercises to my specific needs. She knows when to challenge and when to rest. I'm very grateful for my progress in the past few months thanks to her!

Meet Killian.

As an avid runner with a history of bone stress reactions and a recent hip injury, I want to be a resource for healthy and injured runners alike. There is a lot of misinformation within healthcare about running and this can get perpetuated within the running community as well.

I’m a physical therapist and run coach in Nashville, TN. I created Runners Revival as a space where runners feel their concerns and goals are given the time and attention they deserve. My aim is to deliver you with highly specialized programs and care in order to help you run happy and healthy.

  • I'm an ex athlete and full-time coach and have seen Dr. Carlton on numerous occasions in which she has treated me and gotten me "back in the game”.

My Philosophy

Runners are not machines. I know we’d all like to think we are, but there are many factors in our lives that can affect performance day to day. Did you sleep 7+ hours last night? Are you eating enough calories, carbs, and protein to support your training? Have you been injured in the past? All of these variables play a role in whether we are able to stay healthy while running. Some of them we can’t change; others, we can address to give ourselves the best possible chance of meeting our goals.

As your physical therapist or coach, I believe that it is my responsibility to understand you as a person first, runner second. This means having hard conversations, being flexible with training, and adequately preparing you to perform.

What working with me looks like:

  • Figure out what makes you tick as a runner

  • Understand where you are and where you want to be- the goal is to close the gap between these two

  • Mutual exchange of dog pictures

  • Killian is absolutely wonderful. I came to see her because I was having some shin pain while running and she created a customized plan just for me. She made me feel comfortable from our first encounter and truly adapted our schedule based on my needs. She was flexible and followed up consistently to make sure the plan was working, and if not, made adjustments accordingly.
