Runners Revival
Coaching
Tired of playing the guessing game of how to progress your run or strength plan? Let me take the guess work out of it for you!
As a child of a coach, I grew up in awe of the impact my dad had on his athletes. And ever since I can remember, I wanted that. Not only was coaching a way to stay involved in sports, but a way to positively affect the lives of others. After graduating PT school and starting to work with more runners, I saw run coaching as an opportunity to do just that.
My goals as your coach:
Help you meet your running goals
Provide personalized programs that take into account your current life circumstances and stressors
Promote a healthy relationship with running
Address any pain that pops up before it becomes an injury
Run Performance Coaching
Run coaching is more than just throwing your miles down on a piece of paper or a spreadsheet. Your program should take into account your running experience, injury history, and current life circumstances. It should also be flexible. Being able to pivot when the unexpected occurs is a sign of running intelligence and mental resilience.

Strength Coaching for Runners
Strength training- it seems to be a 4 letter word for runners, but it’s one of the best things you can do for your running health & performance and for your overall well-being. Lifting weights not only improves your efficiency while running, but it proves to your brain that you can do hard things- and this can play a vital role in your mindset while racing. Strength training also improves resistance to fatigue, increases bone strength, and provides a solid foundation for you to grow as a runner.

Strength training, maybe even more so than running, takes time to see results. That’s why it’s crucial to commit to consistency within this practice. (wow, that was a lot of c’s)
There are also certain ways to lift that are better for running performance. Different combinations of sets, reps, & weight target different tissue types. But, don’t let that deter you! Let me take all of the guesswork out of strength training, so you can focus on your running goals!
